Giving Back

Mystique is committed to giving back to the community and the environment. We have paired up with a number of not-for-profit organizations to try to do a small part in helping out. By visiting Mystique, you are also helping the following organizations, to name a few:

BC Cancer Agency, Matter of Trust, Mercy Ministries Canada.

BC Cancer Agency

The BC Cancer Agency, an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority, provides a province-wide, population-based cancer control program for the residents of British Columbia and the Yukon.

The BC Cancer Agency’s mandate covers the spectrum of cancer care, from prevention and screening, to diagnosis, treatment, and through to rehabilitation. The BC Cancer Agency’s mandate is driven by a three-fold mission:

  • To reduce the incidence of cancer
  • To reduce the mortality rate of people with cancer
  • To improve the quality of life of people living with cancer

Matter of Trus

Matter of Trust

Matter of Trust is a non-profit organization conducting an International Natural Fiber Recycling Movement. Just think about it...you shampoo because hair collects oil. That means it can collect petroleum oil spills too. Over 300,000 pounds of hair are cut each day in the US and not to mention all the clippings from pet groomers. We at Mystique are happy to contribute to this fabulous program. When you come in for your haircut, you will be saving sea life. Not quite sure how it works? Just watch this amazing video from Matter of Trust.

Mercy Ministries

Mercy Ministries of Canada provides hope and healing to desperate young women who are seeking freedom from life-controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addiction, depression, eating disorders, unplanned pregnancy, physical and sexual abuse and self-harm. So far this year, Mystique has closed the salon specifically to help these women in need. Our staff dedicate their time to helping this diverse population of 19-28 year old women from various socio-economic backgrounds. Any role we can play to help these women get back on their feet is a blessing.
